I am responsible for Permanent GP roles across Australia.

In 1986 I started at AMAQ successfully placing General Practitioners in locum and permanent positions Australia wide. Two years later I started Medical Locum Service with a mentor and then in 1990 I branched out on my own to start what is now Medical Recruitment Pty Ltd.

This longevity in the industry has given me a comprehensive understanding of the real needs of both employers and candidates – no situation is ever the same and this is what I love and thrive on. With over 30 years of GP recruitment experience I have the knowledge and expertise to assist practices and doctors with their recruitment and career choices.

I was recommended to contact Medical Recruitment by a colleague of mine who had been in a similar situation to me. I was living in the UK where I had done all of my training and wanted to gain employment in Melbourne, close to my wife's family. The team at Medical Recruitment was incredibly helpful right from the start. I communicated to them at length by phone and email and then we scheduled a meeting at their offices whilst we were in Australia! They were very knowledgeable and made the difficult process of getting UK medical training recognized within Australia much more straightforward. Furthermore having achieved this they were very diligent in placing me in a suitable clinic where I am working now and am very happy. I cannot recommend Susan and the team enough.
